2012 Fall Class Schedule
Our Summer Dance Camp is finally here! We have a wide variety of classes and teachers lined up for Dance Camp 2012 "Broadway LIVE!" Here's a sneek peek: Kelsey is back to WOW us with her Hip Hop skillz, we're excited to have Molly teaching Contemporary and Ballet, Nicole has Musical Maddness in store for our Musical Theater class, Kisha has only the cutest choreography in store for Jazz, you might convince Kaley to show you her Handstand in Tumbling or challenge her to a Wing contest in Tap and Miss Amy is back for a little Broadway Tap--Rockette style! It's going to be a fun three days for girls of all ages! Camp Dates are July 10th-12th (that's Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) from 4-7pm. Cost is $75. We will have snacks and water available for purchase. If you have any questions, email Miss Amy at missamy.dance@gmail.com. We're looking forward to seeing you all there!

Congratulations to Amanda Trent for her achievements in the National American Miss Pageant last weekend. Amanda won first place in the Talent category, first place in the Photogenic category, placed in the Top 20 Overall and was awarded a $500 cash prize! For her talent she performed "Boogie Bugle Boy," a high-energy sassy tap routine choreographed by Amy Grover and "Irish Jig," a fun Irish twist on clogging choreographed by Megan Elliott. Congratulations again! We're so proud of you!

What a Show!
Thanks to all of our dancers for an amazing Recital Saturday night! Jeanne herself said it was one of our best shows ever! A HUGE Thank-You to all the parents for their continued support of our talented dancers at Jeanne's. We couldn't do it without you!
As a reminder, pictures are scheduled this week at Leisure's. Everyone should have received an email with the schedule attached for picture times.
Don't forget to come by the studio this Saturday, May 26th to register for Summer classes, Dance Camp and Fall classes. We look forward to seeing everyone in June for our summer classes and July 10th-12th for our amazing Dance Camp--"Broadway LIVE!" It's Showtime!
Jeanne's School of Dance 2012 Dance Recital will be Saturday, May 19th at Dobson High School. The Auditorium doors will open for seating at 5:30 p.m. with the performance starting at 6:00 p.m. The performance order is now posted in the studio for parents and dancers to look over. Program Books are available for $5 each.
Dress Rehearsal will start at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 19th at Dobson High School in the Auditorium. Please note when your dances are scheduled for rehearsal and be there at least 15 minutes early. We will be running the rehearsal in the order of the performance with the exception of Diana's Combo Classes. Those classes will rehearse both of their dances back-to-back. They will not be performed back-to-back in the show Saturday night.
Make sure your dancer has all parts of her costume and dance shoes clearly marked with her name or initials. If you have any questions about hair, make-up, costumes or shoes please see your dancer's teacher.
We're ready for a great show!
